Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Universidad de Monterrey in México and an MFA in Book Arts/Printmaking from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She worked for Jace Graf at Cloverleaf Studio in Austin, Texas. Lucia has taught bookbinding workshops at Universidad de Monterrey, International Printing Museum in Carson, CA, San Diego Book Arts, Philadelphia Center for the Book, Museo MARCO and Pinacoteca de Nuevo Leon both in Monterrey Mexico. She has been a visiting artist at Ursinus College, Biola University and University of Pennsylvania. She manages Oveja Verde, her bindery in Monterrey Mexico, where she also teaches private workshops. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Lucia lives and works in Monterrey, México.
